Day Spring Home Health – Benevolent Program Terms & Conditions
(Effective under Texas Law & HIPAA Guidelines)
• Eligibility:
Benevolent services are extended to qualifying individuals in contracted facilities or through verified nonprofit partnerships. Clients must not currently be eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, or VA coverage for the specific service.
• Scope of Services:
These services may include, but are not limited to: non-medical support, community wellness visits, hospice care, and temporary home health assistance. All services are subject to availability and staffing.
• Partnership Requirements:
Organizations partnering with Day Spring Home Health under the Benevolent Program must:
• Be registered in Texas as a profit, nonprofit or community service provider
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and applicable state/federal healthcare laws
• Sign a Memorandum of Understanding outlining mutual responsibilities
• Employee Volunteers:
Services delivered through this program may be performed by licensed professionals volunteering their time. While voluntary, all services remain subject to the same quality and compliance standards as billable care.
• Liability & Indemnity:
Day Spring Home Health holds no liability for services rendered outside of a formal care agreement unless otherwise required by law. Partner organizations must carry their own general liability coverage.
• HIPAA Compliance:
All client interactions, data handling, and service records will be maintained in full compliance with HIPAA and Texas Health & Human Services standards.
• Modifications:
Day Spring Home Health reserves the right to update or discontinue the Benevolent Program at any time. Partners and clients will be notified of changes via official channels either email  or telephone call.
